Oh my...

Totally having a hard time keeping up with this Blog, Facebook, wedding business and having fun while keeping sane at work! I am happy to announce we are getting married in less than 2 days! I can't wait! Dustin has gotten all the tuxedo's, taken care of the dogs for the weekend, tied up some loose ends at homw while i'm up in SL taking care of other stuff. Family and friends start coming to town tomorrow and I can't wait! Last night Tanya and I spent the night finishing up things in Phoenix and packing all the wedding jazz. Pfister came over to help in tying ribbon on the little tins I crafted for the favors all the guests will be receiving! Food is done, centerpieces are done, drinks are done, dress...done. Eyebrows got waxed, nails got done....bridesmade dresses are taken care of and delivered. Flower Girls dresses were hand made and I can't wait to see the finished product! I think we have everything covered! Woo Hoo.

This last weekend we had the Bachelorette Party in Vegas and boy was that fun! The Thunder From Down Under was the highlight of the trip! No pictures though, sorry! Dustin's Bachelor Party was spent with him and some guys Paintballing and BBQ'ing, then hitting up the bars! He said he had a good time! Dustin texted me on Saturday night and this is what it said: "I hope you are having a wonderful time, next weekend is going to be a dream come true for me". I'm so excited that I have a fiance that shows his emotions, both good and bad. Mostly good! haha....today he called to see how things were going and told me how excited he was getting! That it was getting down to the wire and he couldn't wait to see me tomorrow! I'm super excited!

Well off to bed, family in town tomorrow so I can't wait! Rehearsal and dinner starts at 5pm then all the fun and anticipation begins! I have to go pay for the Minister, which I can't forget about! Oh crap....I just remembered I left the marriage license at home. Phew.....called Dustin and he got it! Oh gosh, leave it up to me to screw that up! haha....I'm in desperate need of sleep!

Girls Night....

Dustin and I like to have what I call "girls night"....it the night where we sit around and gab about girl stuff. I don't ordinarily get many words in about the wedding, my work, what bothered me for the day, etc....you know "girl stuff". So since he's ALWAYS talking about cars, engines, sandrails, getting a new truck, the dogs, the grass, anything that relates to being a MAN...I make it a point to have a girls night her and there!

Tonight, I stopped off and went a little grocery shopping, and made Dustin's favorite Chili for dinner! I bought The Confessions of A Shopaholic and we talked about what i wanted to talk about. Dustin was not aloud to talk about cars or anything relating to them! We watched the movie, ate dinner, gabbed and he even rubbed my arm for me!

Hahaha...we love girls night! Well, at least I do! Dustin went to bed early tonight...I wonder if it's cause he didn't enjoy girls night as much as I did! hahhaahahah....so funny!

Spring Cleaning....that waited til Summer

Dustin and I moved into our house on April 18th and we have had a lot to do and still do! We painted the day we moved in....decorated here and there and finally had enough and did it all right before the bridal shower! I can't tell ya how much money was spent on this place to get it to what I wanted...not what Dustin wanted! haha...he was okay with the walls being white...but I like me some color! Anyhow, we got sod in the side yard just 2 days before the shower, finished painting with Katrina & Brinley in tow the night before the shower and I even managed to paint the kitchen and my bedroom! Here is a picture of my bedroom....the stensil was a pain in the ass and I though Dustin was going to get so frustrated with it for not sticking, he was going to rip it to shreds! I will post more pictures later of the shower and all the other fun jazz! I'm also a new member on facebook.com woohoo! You can find me there too! haha

Getting Close....

So we have 3 weeks left til the BIG DAY!!! It's so exciting and I can't wait! I'm not so much nervous as just wanting everyone there to have an awesome time and not be bored! We have a few little surprises in store for our guests! Dustin and I went up to Show Low over Mother's Day weekend and we stopped up at Pico's Nursery and here are some pictures of where we will be getting married: (I love this place)

Easter...Still Catching Up!

So I am still trying to get up on the whole blog thing but life is still insane. Our roommate Jeramie should be completely out of our house by today! I'm excited for it to be just Dustin and I here! It's our very first house together, so it's kinda special. Anyhow, for Easter Sunday we went to Tucson, like every year we spent it with Uncle Matt & Aunt Fran! We love you guys! This year we got there a bit late, and everyone already started without us...oh well! Breakfast was amazing as always and we got to see how big everyone's kids are getting these days! We hung out for a few hours with everyone, had an Easter egg hunt and just chilled. Katrina and I were starving for lunch so her, I and Brinley ran out. Dustin got a Grinder from Eegees (the best place ever) and we opted for BK! After lunch we coaxed Brinley into trying her Flower Girl dress on (which she didn't want any part of)...she said it was too big! Clearly it was too large, but that's why she needed to try it on. Aunt Fran has been amazing and offered to make the little girls dresses....which is easy for her in a sense because Brinley and Kaitlyn are the same size! Brinley made a comment about how her dress didn't look like a princess dress and that it wasn't beautiful! Little stinker...I know she will love it when it's all done!

We went home and hung out at the apartment with the girls and off to be in time for dreaded work in the morning. Unfortunately, Dustin was up sick all night with what seemed as the stomach flu! ICK!! He missed work Monday and Tuesday and went back on Wednesday still feeling crummy. Nobody else got sick so we were thinking it was food poisoning! Maybe from the oh so good Eegees....oh no! I don't understand how much men are such BABIES when it comes to being sick! I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs everytime my phone rang, which was every 10-15 minutes that he was home sick! He says "I NEED YOU", "come home please", "I'm dying". "Help me"! Over and over and over again....he wanted me to up and abandon my job so I could go home and give him some support....I asked if he wanted me to come hold his hair back (sarcastically of course, his hair is short)! So for about 8 hours on both Monday and Tuesday I got about a million calls and texts from Dustin pleading for me to head home....just take the day off he says! At that point I literally wanted to shut my phone off and ignore him! I even went as far as sending his brother over to check on him for fear he was really dying! haha. I got home that night and was called upon immediately. He wanted me to sit with him....when I did he said he felt better already! What a man! haha

My Man....

I thought I would blog about how hard of a worker my fiancé is! He’s always busting his butt at work and LOVES his job! He finally has found a career that he wants to be at for a very long time and I’m proud of him! He makes me happy and yesterday when he emailed me pictures of the project he’s solely working on; I had to post about it! He works for and aerospace company that rebuilds parts from planes, engines, etc. He has been telling me what’s he’s doing at work and constantly saying “he’s tired”…..I never realized it until I got the pictures! I now realize that my job compared to his is mindless and he’s awesome! I sit in a desk for 8 hours on the phone ALL DAY LONG helping patients and parents with sick babies; and I complain I’m sooo tired!

Dustin you are great at what you do and I’m happy I have a handy man like you in my life! Dustin had his review yesterday and got a $1 raise (which is awesome) and was told that his review was the best the manager has given in such a short amount of time! He was told he is very smart in the work he does for the age he is! I love all the good things he was told yesterday! Finally, he’s being recognized! Woo hoo!!! Below are the photos he sent me…impressive (he’s had to run copper wires through those HUGE metal pipes from outside the building to the inside…..I couldn’t do that; Good thing he’s the FABRICATOR!!! I think I know what all this is about below...but really I have NO IDEA...just that inside those pipes are copper wires (not sure what they are used for)! haha
